And there are no verses that specifically teach that contraception is wrong.<br /><br />The Catholic Church makes a very big deal over artificial contraception and asserts that it is “intrinsically evil,” claiming to have biblical support for it. But we would say that there is no biblical support for that statement. Therefore, once again, the burden of proof is on the Catholic Church, not on the Protestant. By the way, the story of Onan (Genesis 38) doesn’t work.
